Roberta Aiello graduated at the Fine Arts’Academy in Rome (ScenographyDept) in 1999 still works as a production designer and set decorator in the field of entertainment. Simultaneously works as interior design for Middle East, taking part in important work of furniture and decoration.

In the last year, the hobby becomes a second job and, given the crisis in the Performing Arts, the time to build up increases, as the opportunity to present products to the public and gather some success.

Through a dense network participation in markets and Vintage Crafts, and website, the production of jewelry was very well received by the public and collects an unexpected success. The result is La Bottega di Medusa, now virtual store, online since june. La Bottega di Medusa finalizes various collections to reach different audiences.

Vintage Collection is inspired to English Illustrations, fairytales and Vintage jewelry.

The objects are the most original necklaces and earrings, made with Swarovski, hand-enameled brass and copper filigree, glass beads and more.

The Crazy Flowers belongs to a jewelry collection made with flowers of all types and materials. Do not miss the necklaces with enameled metal flowers by hand, inspired by ‘50s American jewelry.

Glass Collection includes rings, earrings and pendants made of glass or hand-decorated with a particular technique of decoupage made with resins and glues and with personal and unique graphic.

Buttons Mania, by contrast, uses all Vintage buttons.

Contemporary Classic jewelry includes more sober and essential items, Ethnic has the scent of several different cultural contamination, Crochet recovers the tradition of women’s work such as handycraft crochet and macramé.

New birth is the Special Collection that includes very specific artistic jewelry. To this collection belong the Special Collars, chains and collars art to wear in very special occasions.

In process is the section devoted to brides, what will be the Wedding Collection, special and unique jewelry at very reasonable price. Medusa’ shop has not forgotten anyone and devotes jewels to a wide range of audiences. Customers and clients, in fact, ranging from 15 to 65 years. And there are plenty of men who are willing to buy the gifts. All products are original, created as single pieces or small series, made with great care, love and patience, with different techniques and materials, all controlled quality, nickel free and non – toxic materials.

All jewelry and accessories have in common the originality, quality of execution and affordable, allowing anyone to wear a one of a kind jewel, marked by a certificate of authenticity signed by the author.

Every object, in fact, is not replicated, unless they belong to the admittedly limited series. The materials most used are the buttons Vintage Collection (more than 18,000 buttons belonging to the artist’s personal collection, purchased around the world), tissue antique or special, valuable and yarn quality, handmade glass, wood and glass hand decorated and special techniques of decoupage modified and adapted for the construction of the jewelry.

The techniques are drawn from the tradition without forgetting the craft sewing, embroidery and crochet, but also painting and decorating coatings, techniques learned in the implementation of sets and interior decoration

Among the traditional products such as costume jewelry earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, you can find original hair accessories, scarves, necklaces, brooches made of fabric and crocheted collars inspired by the past, decorated with precious accents.
